Mike Whaley

Mike joined Dan at Pro Golf in 1994 after
relocating from Maryland. During his career, Mike has attended the
Golfworks club making and club repair school in Newark, Ohio as well
as the Ping club fitting school in Phoenix. He tries to simplify
the club buying experience for his customers by stressing a feel and
aesthetic approach to club fitting.
He was married in 2002 to Melissa and was overjoyed by the arrival
of their first child, Samuel, in May of 2003.

Dana Canter
Dana started his career with Pro Golf in
February 1986. He has learned the business from the ground up, first as a
salesperson and then as manager of the northwest location. In 1991, Dana
was named as assistant general manager for the Columbus locations. In
1998, Dana opened his own Pro Golf franchise on the west side of Columbus.
He closed the operation in 2002, and rejoined Dan at the Dublin store.
With 18 years of experience in sales, repairs, customer service, and corporate
sales, Dana is an invaluable part of Par Golf of Columbus.
Dana has been married to Debbie for 14
years and has a 4 year old granddaughter, Selena. He enjoys
golf and spending time with Debbie and Selena.
Olin Melaragno
Olin has worked
with Dan off and on for 10 years. He is a full time tax manager
and also a part time golf coach, having spent time helping
many local high school players with their golf game. Olin is a
lifetime Columbus resident as well, graduating from The Ohio State
University in 1970. He served with the U.S. Army Reserve from
1970-1976. He teaches and plays the game whenever time allows and
enjoys his other spare time with his wife Barb and their family.
Olin has ventured to every Big Ten Football venue to support his
alma mater....GO BUCKEYES!!!
Darren Matousek
Darren joined us at Par Golf in the
summer of 2000. He is a full time student at The Ohio State
University, studying Integrated Resource Policy and Planning. He
still calls Waterville, Ohio his home, despite having relocated
here to attend school. In addition to his time with us, he serves
as a demo-day representative for Callaway Golf. Darren's many
interests include, first and foremost, his family in Waterville;
but also cars, the Detroit Red Wings, and of course, the many
facets of the game of golf.
Rick Taylor
Rick joined the staff here at Par Golf in
the summer of 2003 after retiring from the Upper Arlington Fire
Department with 30 years of service, at the rank of Captain. In
addition to his service with the fire department, Rick also served
with the U.S. Air Force from 1970-1976. He is a lifetime resident
of Columbus, enjoys golf and spending time with his wife Mary.
