     In May of 1982, Dan Brady opened his first store under the Pro Golf Discount banner.  During the next twenty years, he successfully grew the franchise and his presence in the Columbus golf market.  During these years, a total of four stores were opened in the Columbus area and an additional two stores in the Greater Cleveland area.  After a number of successful years, Dan chose to slowly consolidate into the current northwest Columbus location.

     In 2002, his 20 year contract with Pro Golf expired and the decision was made not to renew with Pro Golf, but instead to strike out as an independent golf store.  This was the beginning of Par Golf of Columbus.  The change was in name only, as Par Golf of Columbus continues to offer the best prices and the best service in the Columbus golf market.  These were, and remain, the hallmarks of Par Golf Discount.
